DO THE SHIRTS SHRINK?
The shirts that are 100% cotton are pre-shrunk, but I have noticed that mine have all shrunk a little more. If you are unsure, order up from your normal size. Items that have fabric blends do not seem to shrink.
TELL ME ABOUT THE SHIRTS.
Generally, I prefer the Gildan brand of shirts, but use other brands for certain styles. I currently offer sizes ranging from 6 months up to Men’s 5XL, in some styles. I can also put the logo on a provided shirt, but check with me first for more details.
- INFANT: 6M, 12M, 18M, 24M
- TODDLER: 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6T
- YOUTH: XS, S, M, L, XL
- WOMENS: S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X
- MENS: S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X*, 5X* (*only certain styles)
TELL ME ABOUT THE TOTES.
The tote bags measure 15” across, 12” deep with a 4” gusset on the sides and bottom. This effectively increases the depth to 14”. They are 100% cotton and do not have any pockets. They are the perfect size for a 3-ring binder and a water bottle.
WHY DO SOME T-SHIRTS COST MORE?
Vee necks and larger sizes cost me more; sometimes a lot more.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE T-SHIRTS and TOTES?
I use HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) for the glitter, metallic and the plain transfers. I cut the designs on a special machine attached to my computer, and press them on with a Heat Press, which combines high heat and pressure to melt it into the weave of the fabric.
CAN I MIX AND MATCH COLORS AND TEXTURES?
Yes! That’s the beauty of making these individually. I can create them just the way you want them! The offered prices reflect 1-3 colors per shirt.
- All one color
- All words in one color and the guitar in a second color
- ROCK VOICES in one color, America’s Community Rock Chorus in a second color and the guitar in a third color.
CAN I ADD SOMETHING ELSE TO THE BACK OR THE SLEEVES?
Yes. I can add something to the sleeves; a single name, or your section name (soprano, alto, etc.) or one on each sleeve. I can also add the website (www.rockvoices.com) to the back. Sleeves, one or both adds $4 each to the cost. Website adds $4. If you want all these things, it’s $12 extra. On the tote bags, I can add a name to the back. Also $4. On the hooded sweatshirts, the personalization can be added to the front chest, or the sleeves, as the logo is on the back. You can choose your colors for the add-ons. If no color is chosen, I will choose a color that I think looks good based on the overall color scheme.
WILL THE DESIGN COME OFF?
I have not had this happen to mine. I don’t expect it to happen. But, I do believe it could eventually happen if the shirt is always laundered in hot water and dried to death. But, we’re all friends here. If there is a problem, let me know and I will make it right. I recommend spot cleaning the totes and baseball caps.
WILL THE GLITTER FADE?
I have worn my shirts for over five years now, and they look as good as the day I made them, so I will say no, it will not.
CAN I GET OTHER COLORS OF SHIRTS?
Not at this time, except for group directors. They are special.
WHO GETS THE MONEY?
I donate half the profit on each item to the RV Scholarship Fund. I am covering my costs, plus a little extra for my time. I’m trying to keep the prices as low as I can and don’t have a lot of overhead at this point. The main source of increased cost is the blank apparel prices, which have been affected by world affairs. So far, we have raised over $9,000 for the scholarship fund.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SHIRT?
For longevity, I recommend that you wash it inside out in a cold water machine wash. A delicate cycle would be great! Letting it air dry is best, but mine have been consistently dried in a low heat dryer without problems.
CAN I WEAR MY TEE SHIRT IN ROCK VOICES CONCERTS?
No. It falls into the category of “shirts with writing on the front.”
DO YOU DO THIS FOR A BUSINESS?
I have a small, in home business which I started in 2016. I love to “glittify” business logos! Although I have filled big orders, my niche is making small orders of unique shirts.
IF I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS, HOW DO I GET AHOLD OF YOU?
My email address is pe***@sh********.rocks. I attend the Northampton and Hadley rehearsals. You can ask me questions there, too.
